Selling my 1971 Fender Precision vintage bass in excellent condition. Not only does it play and sound exactly like you’d want a vintage early 70’s to play, it has so many original pieces. The only modification I can see is a couple extra screws in the pickguard. I’ve compared this bass to others online and it appears most came from the factory this way so it’s completely unmodified! Every component on the bass is original. Also OG: case, cable, covers, tag, and owners manual. There’s some really nice subtle checking in the finish on the body and the neck is super clean, maybe like one ding. Frets have some wear but hardly noticeable and definitely can’t tell when playing. Oh and it’s lightweight too! 8.2 lbs. "B" neck with 1-5/8” nut width.

Only selling this to hopefully pickup an old Moollon I regret selling. Also might be interested in a 5 string F Bass.

Price includes shipping to CONUS address. I’ll upload more pics if needed, but I’ve cleaned up the bass since I picked it up (I truly don’t think the original owner ever removed the covers!)

Why would you choose a Moollon over a true vintage Fender P? Curious because I've owned vintage Fender P basses but never a Moollon.
Great question! It comes down to tone and feel. Both excel at what they do. But the Moollon is closer to the 60’s sound and this 71 Pbass is closer to the 70’s tone. Both are absolutely amazing basses. Honestly I’d be perfectly happy to keep this one, just seeing if there’s anyone interested. Thanks!

Just in case anyone wants to know, there’s no smoke smell on the bass or case. It was used in a church all its life so it’s clean and smells like a regular vintage bass 👍
