**Edit**
I had this listed perviously as a '52 MIJ neck on a '56 MIJ body per information I received from the previous owner. After a bunch of questions and some research, I found that is not correct. It is actually a '51 OPB Precision Reissue made in Japan. The neck is stamped OPB51 and the body is stamped OPB 2T. I cant say for sure, but looks like these were from 2 different basses of the same model as the neck serial comes up as butterscotch, but the body definitely matches other 2 tone sunbursts I've seen from this line. It may also be the '54-72 OPB body.
The back of the neck has additional holes and what appears to be a tilt adjustment, so maybe this spent some time on a '70s Jazz reissue at some point. Does not include the original pickguard, covers, or case, but does include an aftermarket case. I'll switch the straplocks back to original before shipping. I havent done a deep dive on the electronics but they sound great. Surprisingly manageable for a single coil.
Plays and sounds great, and I like the no-pickguard look.
$800 local, $900 shipped CONUS.
