With a recent order of bass strings, in the package came a random (and I assume mistaken) cello string. It is a Helicore G string, 4/4 cello length, Medium tension, in their "4ths" tuning set, which is designed to make an easy transition for bass and guitar players (standard cello tuning is C-G-D-A, i.e., in 5ths, but this is for the G string in bass standard E-A-D-G tuning).
