Hi everyone. I am offering for sale my 2022 Fender Custom Shop 1961 Precision Bass, with a Relic-level finish. The Aged Sherwood Green on this instrument is wonderful, and it has a nice dark rosewood board, too. I have it strung with Thomastik Infeld flatwounds, which work nicely with the hand-wound 62 P pickup.
The back of the neck is beautifully worn-in, having had a specific heavy relic treatment by the Custom Shop.
The bass weighs 8.6 lbs with pickup and bridge covers removed - see photo for a picture of the instrument on a scale. The instrument has a 9.5-inch radius fretboard. It comes with a particularly beautiful case.
