Details

Up for sale is the 1997 USA-made Jazz which I purchased earlier this year from a fellow Talkbasser. It has a sunburst finish, white pickguard, and a couple of modifications which a previous owner had done by a guitar tech: Rio Grande Muy Grande pickups and additional fret marker dots (see photo) which were very cleanly inserted and match up well. The bass is in overall excellent condition - about the only real flaw I can see is the inevitable moderate rash on the back of the body that becomes visible from certain angles.

I should point out that I'm not unloading it because of any dissatisfaction with the instrument - it plays and records very well. But I'm shifting my focus back to piano somewhat on my new recording project (and gigs to follow), so I could really stand to thin out my basses at this point.

Comes with padded gig bag and will be carefully packed and shipped UPS Ground.

Price is $600 shipped w/ insurance to the lower 48 - FIRM
Accepted payment methods include PayPal (verified) and Postal Money Order.

You can hear the bass used in a track from my most recent CD here: (bear in mind this is with some EQ and compression)

Yep, she's still available. I'll give it a little while longer here on TB before I go to eBay with it. It's been making the rounds here for a while now - it would be cool to see it stay in the "TalkBass family," LOL. ;)

Damn, if you could wait until after Christmas I'd buy it for sure.

I have a feeling it may still be around by then...I honestly thought this bass would be gone within hours and that the Carvin would be the tough one to sell, not the other way around, LOL!

Yep, it's still available.

I tried to look into shipping to the UK, Nightsun...it was coming up at about $250US (but that was before I'd even entered the dimensions, and once I did, I got stuck on some FedEx "freight" page that led nowhere. I didn't get much further with the UPS website. Either these sites need to be more user-friendly or I'm just not good at figuring these things out!).

Isnt it more accurately described as a cherry burst rather than sunburst being that its two colours? Its beautiful at any rate. My favourite colour scheme by far!
