Dammit! I want this amp. I love these Carvers. I have three in this series and they do about 1/2 of my PA work. Never had a problem out of them.

But bump because I have no cash!

Does this amp do a bridged load into 4 ohms, and if so how many watts does it do bridged?

It doesn't bridge, per se. It does allow power from one channel to be borrowed by the other channel. So theres 1300watts to play with

I used to own a Carver M2.0t. Just a ridiculously lightweight and powerful amp. I wish I had it back. The M1.5t is a bit different cosmetically, but it's essentially the same circuitry.

It doesn't bridge, but it does, in fact, have a circuit that allows the unused channel to supply power. Probably only Bob Carver himself could explain how this works. I can't, either.

Thanks...one more question for the seller. I don't see any potentiometers, does the amp run wide open all the time?

Thanks...

Yup. I had a PreSonus Tubepre running it. The Tubepre does not go to a zero point for shutoff which made it hard to have a quiet setting. Of course this amp isn't for a quiet setting.

FWIW I have owned a Carver PM-1200 for many years, run the crap out of it and never a problem. $200 is a great price for a ton of clean light power.
