'96 L2K in very good condition. Minor playwear, check out the pictures. I've had this bass for a year, but I bought a new string bass and need to offset the cost. Great feel and even better sound. 9 1/4 lbs. 1 11/16" nut width. Currently strung with Pedulla nickel roundwounds, no fingerboard wear (it wore flats before I got it, can switch back). Ebony board, ash body. I'm including a Fender gig bag and selling for $650 plus actual shipping.

Great playability and the tonal versatility of the L-2000 is well documented. Currently set up with medium-low action for a consistent tone up the neck.

Is that an ebony fingerboard or rosewood? I have been hankering to get an L-2000 with an ebony board...

Nice looking bass... and an ebony board... I just picked up a Sterling... Now I have to figure how to get my wife to let me get it with HER birthday coming up... Valentine's day perhaps..
Bump for a sweet bass, and I will look very hard at getting this, and will PM if I can do it.

Yes I did. They had this one and a sunburst Mahogany one. Both great basses, but this one won out for feel, and the tone was a little snappier.

Was it yours at one point?

Yes,both those basses were mine once. The black L1K I bought about a year before you got it. It was from a guy on the Telecaster Discussion Page, who lived on Long Island. I had five L1K's at the time, and needed Boogie combo so....

Great bass that black one, I kinda miss it now!
