The CA9 lovers wet dream! If you are looking for one this is the thread for you. I have a newer and an older model so if price is an issue for ya, you can still get that CA9 power at a lower cost. Heck, you might not even have to crack the older one to bridge. These suckers are POWERFUL!

Older Crest CA9 - $600 Shipped with SKB type case

This is an older model with the internal switch. Same power specs but you have to open the chassis up to switch from stereo to mono bridged. The right rack ear is a bit bent(received it that way) but I had it stored in a 10 space shockmount rack so racking with the ear is not a problem. It is currently in a 2 space rack so again, the cosmetic flaws are simply that, cosmetic. Also, the fan grills are pushed in a bit. I have tried to detail everything wrong with the amp in the picture. I will overplay any damage just so the buyer knows what they are possibly getting into. The grill being pushed in does not effect functionality or air flow in any way.

The CA9 is housed in a SKB type 2 space rack that I have - $600 shipped w/rack

Newer Model Crest CA9 in SKB case - $SOLD

Excellent condition! SKB type case not pictured. I'm not sure on the brand of the case. I'm pretty sure it isn't a Gator. I'll check on the case. I will have no need for this case so if someone would like to purchase this separate of a CA9 do contact me. Also, a deal could be worked out without the case. Shoot any questions my way! Peace.

Well Jeff I PM'd you of my decision to keep it offered to overnight the money order plus extra for your troubles when the money order was received, in hopes that we both would walk away cool. Like the PM that I sent I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused because my decision to sell was not thought out thoroughly. To avoid buying another one I didn’t follow through with the sell....anyway per your email a stop payment was issued on the money order. So once I get it I will overnight it back to you with compensation for your troubles. $25 bucks

signed- jackass
Because Greenbass decided not to sell the one he had on here after I had already paid him for it-Jackass

Most certainly Jeff! :help:

If someone would like I could probably have an access hole cut into the top panel of the CA9. Something like a little rectangle so the internal switch could be accessed a lot more easily. Just a thought.

Now selling housed in a 2 space rack. $600 w/rack, shipped. The rack is obviously deep enough to support housing a CA9 :smug:

I prefer a MO, however I will accept paypal.

I believe the unit is 18" deep. I have a 2 u rack which I have used for the CA9. The rack works great! I put the CA9 in its own 2 space rack and have a separate rack for the power conditioner/pre/tuner.

These amps are incredible. I sold one I had, and then bought it back again (from Seakamp-a good guy). Don't hesitate to buy it. It will give you all the power you will ever need, and sound even better at low and moderate volumes. I've always felt that an amp will sound best when you don't have to push it to its maximum, and with the power this amp has, you will never need to push it to its maximum. I have never even put mine in bridged mono mode, so don't worry about having to do that. I played a gig outdoors with a loud 6 piece band through a Bag End 2-10, just going through one side of the amp, and had my Demeter preamp on about 4, and it was plenty loud.

Jeff
