Hey all
I purchased this bass to see what all the BUZZ is about the Darkstar pickups. Well I must admit they are amazing. Alas I am a hard core 5 string player to the bass really does not get much use.

I was the original owner, it is a very cool bass. Have considered buying it back, but it appears that the price has increased since I sold it...hmmm

what's the string spacing on this? original ad wasn't sure (thought 19mm). with 1.5" nut, it seems like it might have a 17mm string spacing at the bridge?

This is one of the sickest basses I've ever seen, let alone owned. I would buy it back in a heartbeat if the neck profile worked with my damaged hands. This bass should be selling at $2500 at least. It's a steal at this price. Fretwork and everything else is at least as good as the Sadowskys I've owned. The darkstars are killer too. They are super thick sounding and they will completely fill out the sound of your band. Someone give this bad boy a home. Your band will thank you and even your girlfriend will dig it.

It has a J/neck and nut is a tad over 1 1/2". I am curious phishaholic: does a 34" get easier than this? (my left hand will surely appreciate your comments)

The nut is not a tad over 1.5 ...it IS 1.5. It's the typical C shape J-bass neck...about 0.87 thickness at the first fret, so a little thicker than normal, but not baseball bat thick
