Details

I have a rick 4003 in fireglow. I believe it was manufactured in 2004. It has the rick-o-sound thing. ive never used it. As far as the condition, it has some minor buckle rash, it does not go through the finish. Also there are 3 very small chips. It comes in a vintage style rickenbacker case, silver tolex, with purple crushed velvet lining with some tears in the tolex, but the case in general holds up well. Looking for basses for trade, Ricks (4001), Sadowsky, Fender , Lakland, and others. Not for sale right now, so please dont ask.

I can't get used to the neck. I much prefer the slim profile of the 4001.

PMs replied to. Im open to 5's, but prefer 4s. Also, not into P basses unless they have jazz style necks.

What about a Rickenbacker 4004Cii in transparent red? It's slimmer and lighter than a 4003 with a more contoured body and humbuckers. It also has a little slimmer and more rounded neck profile. I'm getting it in trade in a couple of days, but I'd really rather have a 4003. Let me know if you're interested. I can get you more when it arrives if you are. Here are a couple of sample pictures:
