Details

Ampeg SVT-4 Pro: It's the American-made model, bought in 2005 at the GC in Columbus, OH. You know this beast when you see it; 1200 watts RMS. It can power any cabinet, or cabinets. It can bi-amp without having to use another amp. Anyway, if you're looking at this, then you probably know all about this amp

It's in very good condition; it's near flawless. It sound good and has NO issues. As a matter of fact, it has had a high-speed fan behind it (sucking hot air out of it) for a while. So, it really never been able to get hot! Also, it's been kept in the Gator 4 space shock-mount case, which provides 360 degrees of ventilation. The case is only a few months old and is in very good condition. The rack case is only a few inches deeper than the head, so it fits and looks right on top of a cab.

I'll throw in a 3' Speakon to Speakon, or Speakon to 1/4", or 1/4" to 1/4" cable in the deal. The power conditioner can be used in the deal, also.

Ampeg SVT-810E: Another American-made model. I'm the original owner of this cab. It was bought at GC in Columbus, OH last year. It's got a bit of road wear on it (some tolex scratches, rips, etc.), but can it really be helped on these fridges? :) Functionally, it is in 10 out of 10 condition. Cosmetically, it is about 8.5 out of ten. The grill cloth in near-perfect.

Ampeg SVT-200T: And yet, another American-made Ampeg! I bought it at Metronome Music in Mansfield, OH not too long ago. I was told that this was either an '89 or '90 model. If you don't know much about these amps, you're missing out. It's rated at 350watts RMS @ 4ohms, 200watts RMS @ 8ohms. It is an extremely durable and dependable head. Through my 810 and 610 it has easily been able to keep up with my (very loud) rock band. A great feature of this amp is that you don't have to worry about noise from a cooling fan; this baby is all heatsink. If you do a little research on this amp, you'll find that many folks believe that this is the only solid-state Ampeg to ever actually sound like a tube amp.

Functionally, this amp is a 10 out of 10. Cosmetically, it is at about 8.5 out of 10. There is some sort of painted writing on the back baffle of the head. The previous owner had tried to cover the paint up with black marker; it actually looks better in person than in the picture. Also, the previous owner had a Speakon speaker jack installed. It's in the top left corner of the back of the amp. The factory 1/4" jacks are still functioning perfectly, as well. No other mods have been done to the amp. Size wise, it is exactly the size of an Ampeg SVT-CL. Weight wise...maybe in the higher 40's/low 50's lbs. area.

What I'm looking for in trade:
1. Other American-made Ampeg amps/cabs
2. Mesa/Boogie amps/cabs
3. Gallien-Krueger amps/cabs
4. Aguilar amps/cabs

I am not interested in shipping any items. However, I will ship an item or items if you setup the shipping and packaging. I live in North-central Ohio. I may be willing to travel a short distance to do a deal.

Note: The SVT-2 Pro, SVT-610HLF, and the other Gator rack are no longer available. I've decided to keep them for the time.

I have to pass on the 350. BTW, I did not mention any interest in the 450 in this thread. I'm looking for high-headroom and tube amps at the moment. Thanks for the offer, though.

I'm leaning more toward trading right now. However, I may change my mind in the future. Fellow Ohioan, huh? :)

BTW, I forgot to mention that a side of the 810 has a big enough chunck of tolex missing that I used black tape to cover it. It doesn't look to bad, though.

I have a 4x10 ampeg pro cab from the early 90's i believe. Its similar to the hlf but higher wattage with the actuater(sp?)... Does that sound like something you'd be interested in trading for? I haven't used it in a long time.

By "actuater," do you mean "attenuator?" PM some pics and a good description of the condition; I'll take a look at them.

Let me know when you'll sell the SVT 2 PRO

thanks,
Charles

Well, I don't think I'll be getting rid of that amp any time soon. When I mix that head with my BDDI and SVT-610HLF...well...perfect tone.

I have a GK 700RB II

I appreciate the offer but I need more power than that out of a solid state amp.

Here's a short, incomplete list of some of the items that I'm looking to trade for:

-GK 2001RB
-GK 1001RBII (no non-II's)
-Aguilar (any amp in the 350+ watt range)
-Mesa/Boogie (any amp in the 350+ watt range)
-GK, Mesa, or Aguilar 410's, 610's, 810's or 412's.
-David Eden stuff

Shoot other ideas to me. The worst that I can say is "no."

Ok, I'll consider selling these.

SVT-4 Pro: $800 + actual shipping
SVT-200T: $350 + actual shipping
SVT-810E: $600--local pickup/meet-up only

I'll do PayPal or Money Order. Of course, you don't have to pay shipping if you come pick it/them up.
