This is a brand new pedal. I used it about 4 times. I tried to use it with an acoustic bass with 2 pickups.(one for bowing/one for pizz.) The impedance didn't match my pickups and deleted low end through my amp. It's designed for someone playing two elec. basses (1 active and 1 passive) or one elec. bass where you want a completely different sound by simply switching at the pedal. (e.g. one ensemble tone and 1 solo tone) It has vol. for each channel and a complete E.Q. for channel two. It can run with batteries or with an A.C. adapter that's included. I paid $260 for it and will sell it for $200. I'm not knowledgeable about pedals and bought the wrong thing. TALK BASS FORUM guys steered me to a Boss Line Selector for what I needed to use my two acoustic bass pickups.
