Okay, here's a fun one. I bought this brand new from my Fender dealer. Didn't even make it onto the showroom floor. My guy knew I was looking and I snatched this up right out of the box!

I planned to build this one up just how I liked it. I added Straploks, Badass 3 bridge, changed the pickguard to abalone. I still have all original parts I'll include with the sale. I didn't get to add the Audere pre like I planned, but oh well. I haven't even played this bass yet; practice or otherwise. You'll notice the BA3 bridge hasn't been set up yet!

Essentially you're getting a brand new Jazz bass with this sale. White color has small flecks of blue/pink throughout--really neat finish!

Let's say the price on this is $850 shipped CONUS!

If you're one of those that's going to insist this is "used" and try to beat me down on price, you should probably stop reading. Lowballers will be politely ignored as I'm not in a hurry to sell this. The right buyer will see the value in this. Please ask any questions. Thanks for looking! :hyper:

What do you mean the BA III hasn't been set up yet? No intonated or not slotted?

Let me clarify, the saddles are grooved already. The saddles haven't been raised and intonation hasn't been set. My "go to" bass guy has got a Peterson tuner and I was waiting to take it to him.

BAIIIs come slotted already.

Nice bass!! I looked at one of these in the local store, very nice. Not in the market, but had to give you props for the bass!

Thanks for the props, bro! :bassist:

Agreed, this is one of the nicer 4 bangers I've played & Jazz basses are all the rage right now.

Dig the bass dude!! If only this was two months ago. I would've snagged this instead of pitching the cash for my custom shop. Good luck i'm sure it'll go fast

Thanks for the kind words! I just clicked on my pictures again for this sale and. . . I'm a terrible photographer. The bass looks MUCH better in person and without that stupid flash.

Also, my apolgies to anyone who gets dizzy looking at the bass with my wife's curtains in the background--in hindsight, maybe that didn't make for the best backdrop? :ninja:

Hi,
I'm not familiar with the configuration of the BA bridge. Are the screw holes the same pattern as the stock bridge? Also I thought you could only use an Audere on passive pickups?
Thanks

Yes, the scew holes are the same. I did no drilling into the wood. And I slowly screwed in the BA bridge so that the teeth of the screws would bite into the wood and not just tear through.

The pickups are passive, the electronics make this one 18v active. You can add an Audere, John East, or whatever you want to this one!

Bass is on SUPER BOWL SALE today only, extra set of new strings being thrown in w/ the new strings that are already on the bass.

Thanks for the info. How would this compare to a Geddy w/audere pre?

To be completely honest, I have no idea. I've never played a Geddy Jazz.

I would guess that it'd be hard to tell them apart, a Geddy is a Fender Jazz w/ BA bridge--just like this one that I have. Except mine looks a whole lot sexier w/ Abalone dot inlays instead of painted black blocks! :spit:

You could always add the audere of your choice later. :hyper:

The reason I ask is because I had one w/Audere. which I liked. So I was wondering if there was a noticeable difference. Also the front head stock pic near the G tuner is there some wood or finish imperfections there or just needs a wipe?
