Up for sale is one ken smith bsr 5m(maple) I just got it back from ken smith,s shop on today, where it was totally refurbished and the preamp was upgraded wth series/parallel switches. I am asking $2500 shipped this bass is better than a new one($3500 with the switches) and has plenty of mojo!!!!

I've tried to tell Ken his site is bad. His thinking is that since it's popular it must be good. He has been backordered for 20 years. Why bother... I see his piont but it's still hard to look at.

you can get a Ken Smith 5 or 6 string with 19mm spacing. I have one. I think it a $600 upgrade though
