Signed by Walter Woods to me in April 1989.

Original Owner
Never needed any repair. I've sprayed the "pots" a couple of times and that's it!

7.5 Lbs.
Black top with handle
Red Face
Stereo Mono Switch to slave another amp.
Slight bend of the lower right side plate, sounds perfect, adds character!

2 Channels:
Channel 1 is for "Fender" as Walter puts it
Channel 2 is for Stand-Up
I use 1 for my Fretted and 2 for Fretless, which brings out the voice of the instrument that's equal to a Stand-Up

Imagine having this on the gig tonight and not having to change your cable cuz it's 2 channels and 600+ watts of pure clean power...

I've opened it up all the way; both input and master and it's whisper quiet!!!!

BUMP for "out of curiosity" what did you spray the pots with? One of my amps needs a bit of same. Figured if what you used was good enough for the WW, then it'll be good enough for me.

Walter recommended to me an aerosol spray made by Hosa called "BigBath." Bought a can on-line for about $10 and it'll probably last me for years. Excuse me for stepping in uninvited, but it was useful info.

Bump for a great amp at a great price!

So far, two different solutions recommended by Walter. :)
While I haven't used it on my WW yet, I have been using Caig products for many years now. I most often use the ProGold 0.5% solution (now called DeoxIT Gold) and with my other amps/preamps, I've been able to flush debris and not dissolve too much lubricant with great success.

If you're not careful, you can actually make things worse by possibly trapping more dirt between the conductive strip and the wiper and also by dissolving the low-viscosity lubricant Walter applies. He has recommended that people not even bother and just send it in to him. But obviously, that's not always feasible when you've got a gig coming up and you don't have a comparable backup.

I bought my Blue light used and when I got it I could tell right away that the first channel had been overzealously sprayed. There was no smoothness or damping in the pots like the second channel. The pre-gain pot especially has been going in and out so I've just been using channel two for now. I don't have an equivalent backup but I think I'm gonna pick up an LMII soon so I can finally send it to Walter.

Anyway, best of luck finding a new home for this great amp!
