I am relisting this since I had it the bass listed for a different price in the title of the old thread.
Up for Sale is my Used Lakland Skyline 55-02.
Standard specs with the Bartolini electronic system. 2004, Ash Body, Three tone Sunburst Finish, lightly flamed Maple neck/Maple Fingerboard.
This has been my main gigging bass for about 3 years now. It has seen a lot of gigs and practice time and does have some noticeable wear.
I will do my best to list all the imperfections.
1. Discoloration of the maple fretboard on the g string side, frets 9 to the top of the fretboard and above the last fret where the fingerboard rounds off. From what i understand this is purely a cosmetic flaw and is not rare for maple fretboards from this batch of Laklands.
2. Dings on the top of the headstock.
3. A couple dings on the side of the neck/fretboard in the first position.
4. Some swirling and minor scratching and some very small dings on the front and back and on the back of the neck.
5. The mid freq. knob is loose but still stays connected and works.
6. Playing wear on the pickup covers.
I am thinking about taking this bass in for a fret job and then setting it up and changing the strings. If I do that, I will relist it for more. The bass plays fine out of the case but could benefit from some love.
It comes with a generic hardshell case. I have never had any serious issues with this bass and have been playing it on many gigs recently and it has been great.
For sound clips just visit the myspace page on my sig and check out any of the tunes with electric bass.
Lowest price firm. $650 plus shipping costs (domestic only) or $650 local pickup (chicago land area)
