I have a circa 2001 Alleva-Coppolo bass preamp (#0054) I am considering selling. The box has lots of dings from being in my gig bag with other pedals & cables. Also, I had this mounted in a pedalboard, so I drilled a small hole in the box on the side so I could set the battery next to the preamp for changes without a screwdriver and also extended the battery leads. However, the pre-amp is in mint condition. Box color and control knobs are original. Serial # and Jimmy Coppolo signature is on back of box with date.
Excellent bass preamp with A-C tone. I used it with a Fender Roscoe Beck V bass for years but have changed sounds (Lakland DJ5 with Audere pre). Very "phat" bottom with clear top.
