This is a project Fender Jazz bass neck that has had the frets pulled out and they havent been filled in.It shows some relicing on the back and on the headstock.The back has been sanded at some time and has the relic look to it.The headstock has some of the clear coat flaking off and it also has no nut on it.The truss rod turns freely.I know this is a MIM neck although the serial number has been scratched off the back of the headstock as you can see in one of the pics. I purchased this with the intentions of starting a project and it never happened.It had had its frets pulled before I got it but the original owner did tell me it was a MIM as he had bought the bass new.
