SOLD : One Dr.Bass 2460 bass cab w/cover and casters.
I ordered this cab brand new in March of this year. It's in mint condition and works perfectly. I aquired a Berg 410 which I prefer so I'm not really using the 2460 but it's a great cab and built to the hilt for a very affordable price.

Ceramic 2x12" Delta 12LF
6.5" mid and tweeter/horn
3-way X-over w/mid and HF level control
40hZ to 20kHZ 101 dB 1W1M
4 ohms
24.25"h x 20.75"w x 15"d
62 lbs.

options I paid $100.00 for included in sale price:
4 pop out casters
1 fitted cover/ non-padded.

Note: I'm only selling the bottom cab, I'm keeping the 1260 pictured on top.

Do you know me?? would seem that you do LOL!! Hey, I'm trying to work on self restraint! :) I draw the line (sorta) on rigs.... they take up more space than basses.

I currently have 2 heads, 3 cabs, 2 combo amps, guitar amp, 3 pedal boards.... thank God I've sold some stuff lately HEHEHE.

Yes it's a very compact and easy to move cab. Definately seems lighter than it is because of the profile. I've never tried the D version but it has plent of low end for sure. I ordered the 15" depth because 17" plus depth just don't load as easy in my vehicle. The 15-16 seems to be perfect and makes a difference. Plus I really dig the ceramic woofers that are rated at 1000w 4ohm, this baby takes the juice all day long.

It may be gone this week. I have a local interest. :)

I already have this cabinet (one of the first Marc built) and you've got me gassing for another...
Help me stopppp!! I'm waiting for delivery on a Schro 1515L (the big one) and now I'm gassing over what two 2460s would sound like stacked.

Seriously, somebody would be very happy to have grabbed this one at $500. On an objective note, the 101 dB 1W1M sensitivity rating doesn't do this cab justice. I've driven mine with everything from a 130w Peavey Standard head (from '73) to a PLX2402. It performs very well with a lot of power or a little. Lows are round, but very well defined. Highs are clean, but not shrill.

The attenuators let you dial in as much 6" or horn as you want too, an awesome feature that lets you tailor it's voice from super aggressive down to smooth and mellow. I favor aggressive.

The $500.00 is for a local sale but for shipping it $550.00

There is plenty of meaty low end from this cab, agreed!
I didn't see any reason to get the D version. The standard 15" depth profile is excellent for hauling purposes in my case. Weird how a couple inches make such a big difference. :)
