Anyone who knows me might be having a "***?" moment right now.
I recently switched the pickups from the single coils to the humbuckers. There was an issue with the pickups that were in the bass when I bought it and, when Lakland sent the replacement pickups... they sent the humbuckers. I decided to put them in, and... well... I head over heels preferred the singles.
Interesting side-note, this was the Decade prototype with the CS pickups. It originally shipped with the humbuckers (according to Lakland), but somewhere along the line the single coils were installed. I'm the first owner... weirdness.
Anyway, I love the Decades. Shoot, I adore them. However, I decided that it's going to be in my best interest to order a new one. Exactly how I want it - like I'd originally planned. This one was available when I was looking, and I'm impatient... so I bit.
Onto the details.
I bought this bass in early September. Like I mentioned, it was a prototype... so it's been played by a number of other people. In hand, there are some "love" marks. The only one that shows up in the pictures is the "discoloration" on the pickguard. Other than that, there are a few small scratches, and a nick on upper horn. None of which are visible from 2 feet away. I couldn't get them to show up any pictures.
Also worth mentioning, this thing is SUPER light. I'd guess under 8 lbs. Maybe 7.5 - I'll weigh it when I get a chance.
There is also some minor scuffing on the hardshell case. I think that's expected with a white tolex case...

This was tagged at $2800. I'm asking $1825 (OBO) shipped in the continental US.
I just realized my finger was covering part of the lense in the first picture. What an idiot...
