hitch - have you every used the standard non-programmable BDDI? From Tech 21, the programmable uses "digi-pots" rather than standard pots. The "digi-pots" are made of resistors+transistors and are what let the unit store/retrieve values and I am wondering if there is any difference in how the programmable sounds - any idea? Thanks.
I have used the standard BDDI, and sound wise they are identical. It is a little harder to mess with one of the programmed channels on the spot, but I just write down what the settings for each channel are and keep it in the box. I almost have all three memorized...lol
