FOR SALE ONLY: Spector Euro 4 in solid black. This is the pre-LX Euro, with the dot inlays and EMG preamp (not the Tone Pump). I like this bass a lot, but since I've been doing so much recording with synth bass lately and haven't been playing bass as much, I don't really need two Spectors at the moment.

Bass is in good condition and plays great with probably the lowest action I've ever had. The gold finish is wearing away on the top edge of the bridge (which seems to happen a lot with gold hardware over time). I found one minor ding on the top side of the body. Other than that, just the general small scratches from typical player wear that only show up at certain angles. One peculiarity: I've noticed that the control cavity cover tends to vibrate (mostly around the frequency of the open "A" string) if you don't keep it screwed down very tight.

Comes with a Spector hard case that shows some signs of wear but will still protect the bass for years to come.

Just looking to get out of it what I paid for it. $650 SHIPPED via USPS to anywhere in the lower 48. No shipping outside of the USA. Not looking for trades at this time. Paypal and Postal Money Order accepted.

Thanks for looking...here are a few pics:

This won't be here long! Someone's going to be getting an amazing deal. I think these are much better of a bass than the LX...and an LX goes for over $1000 used!

My old bass! This one really is sweet. Someone is going to get a great deal on a killer bass here. If I had the cash, this would be on its way back up to Canada for a fretless conversion. Good luck with the sale.

LOL, so we both had plans to "modify" this one. This is the one I had originally thought of stringing B-E-A-D. I've used synth bass on five out of the last six new tracks I've recorded, though, and it's being neglected.

Someone needs to give this bass a good home and make it happy before it cries. Unhappy basses do that when you're not looking. :crying: ;)
