SOLDThis bass is as close to "Like New" as it gets. I bought it new from Bass Emporium on July 24, 2008. After a week or two, I noticed some extremely small indentations on the back of the neck. I couldn't figure out how they had gotten there. It took me a couple of months but I finally reallized the marks coincided with frets 1 through 4 meaning the neck had likely been laid on top of another fretboard causing the indentations. The guys at Bass Emporium and at Lakland were great. BE shipped it back to Lakland in September and I just got it back a week ago. Lakland installed a new neck that has been through the plek machine! The new neck is perfect with incredible fretwork. If you hold it up to the light you may see a minimal swirl or two but no scratches and certainly no dings. This bass has not left my home studio. I have played it very little and it has never been gigged.
The problem is that I have realized that I am just not a 5-string guy so I am selling this beautiful bass. This is my first sale on TB but I have a 100% rating on ebay (username: doctormoore).
