Details

I would never ever sell this if I didn't have to. But times are tight and I need to let her go. This is an all original 1964 P Bass. 3 Tone Sunburst, and comes with original case and ashtray covers. The case in the photos is not the original. The original is black with orange interior and will be included with the bass.
It is probably the best playing bass I own. It has natural wear on the back and front. I am the third owner. I bought it from the second owner 2 years ago. He owned it for about 25 years. I also have an appraisal from Gruhn Guitars that I will include.
I'm sure you might have some questions, so let me know and I'll answer them for you. I'll also email pics to anyone interested. I'm really looking to get $7000 or best reasonable offer.
Thanks

Whoa, that thing is so vintage it hurts!

But OP, you might want to reformat the pictures... it's got the width of this thing all wack.

I've got one of these that is almost identical except mine has some more wear than this one. I must say that these things completely stand up to their big price tag with unbelievable value, feel, and tone. Free bump for a gorgeous instrument.

Wow, that's cheap... considering a "Road Worn" Fender P costs in the $1000 range. Pay only seven times that and get real road wear!

I will buy a lottery ticket today. You should too. This is a bass I'm sure you would rather keep.:hmm:

I would rather keep it. And I'm not trying too hard to sell it. If it doesn't sell then I'm ok with that.

The e string tuner appears different. Maybe it is just the fur of the case blocking the view of the tuner. It appears to be flat on the end versus the other three that are not.
Not trying to knock the bass but the tuner does appear different from the other three.

It's the fur blocking the top of the tuner. All four of the tuners look to be exactly identical. Daniel is a great seller, btw.

I'm not sure of the exact dates, but does this have an 'L' series serial #?
