damned economy makin' me sell off my favorite basses!

bought this bass from bassinstincts a while back, now i must sell it to pay the bills. it's an AMAZING player with a P/J pickup configuration. it has been upgraded with new pickups (Bartolinis) and a new bridge (Badass II). i hate to let it go, but i must.

two of the small switches (series/parallel, phase/reverse) were disabled by the original owner (he claimed it made no real discernible difference to the sound). i think i have the schematic around here somewhere if you'd like to bring it back to its original condition.

i will include the original hardware.

the specs:

34" scale
maple fretboard, ash body, brass top nut, Badass replacement bridge
neck 1.575 at the nut, 2.450 at the 20th fret.
P/J (3-way pickup selector switch) with 18V preamp circuit & separate battery compartment
Replacement Bartolini Pups
3 knobs (vol, active treble/bass boost, passive tone/active mid boost).
3 small switches (originally series/parallel, phase/reverse, active on/off). Only the active on/off connected.

here is a pic of the bass in its original state (ie, original pickups and bridge):

still available, and price drop!

$375 shipped!

i just played this baby again at a rehearsal... and i got even SADDER. :bawl:
the pickup orientation on the Phoenix is different than the usual PJ setup... the P pickup is closer to the neck, and the J pickup is closer to the bridge. with the P pickup solo'd (my favorite), you get a great mix of that midrange growl and a fat bottom. the perfect *mwah*!!!

inanycase........... :)
