Hey guys, I just got a Fodera AJ Contrabass in the shorter 34" scale I'm really comfortable and don't really have any real need for another sixer...
Here's a Modulus Quantum 6.
Bass was made in 1990, is 35" scale - has a huge B!!!, has a gorgeous quilted maple top finished in red, EMG soapbar pickups, 2 band EQ, Kahler bridge (great bridge IMO and IME). Everything else is fairly obvious.
Bass is in 9/10 condition, one small ding, which I've attached a photograph of. Any other blemishes on it are the odd fraction of a millimetre ding, or vague scuffing, nothing you'd be able to see unless you were looking very closely on an angle in the sunlight.
This bass sounds awesome, and nails that big punchy hi-fi sound. Electronics are really quiet and the bass sounds huge. Really fast neck, the graphite feels amazing.
Asking $1500 Australian dollars.
Will ship to Australia and internationally at buyers expense.
