You have no idea how bad I want that Streamer. It'd be the perfect fretless match to my honey violin SSI 5 (so my "prices" post wasn't just me acting as a moderator, I'm genuinely interested in the bass;)).

Hi Alex. The basses got here today, but there was only one gigbag in the box. Did you send the other one separately?

The streamer looks great, in excellent condition just as described.

The Thumb also arrived. What is up with the holes drilled in the lower horn, at the neck joint, and through the neck at the 12th fret? That last one has a fretboard repair where it looks like the screw went all the way through the neck. These were a surprise for a bass in "excellent condition."

Please let me know if I should be expecting a box with the second gigbag or not.

Uuuh. Yeah. A bit of a surprise. That piece of plastic on the lower horn is actually a plug that covers a nick sized hole that's an inch deep. And check out the inlaid repair on the fretboard where it looks like someone probably screwed or drilled through it. Oh, and then there's that extra little screw between the other 4 that hold the neck on.

I wonder what that big hole could have been for. Any ideas?

Yikes. The hole on the back w/ the plug is one thing, but the fretboard repair sucks. Too bad man.

Regarding that middle screw of the neck bolts.... is there a split in the wood there? If so, I'm wondering if that either caused the split or was drilled there to stop it.

Not trying to pile on, just some weird stuff on that bass.

Nope. Not a word. In the ad he says, "Both come with rockbags, both in excellent condition."
Only one came with a gigbag. To be fair, perhaps the second was shipped separately. I have not heard back from him about it.
