You don't see many of these here:
Ken Smith Custom BSR `B' (Burner) 4-string (Maple body)
For Sale - $1025 shipped CONUSGreat condition and comes with Ken Smith hard case (not certain it's original) and a strap. This bass is super easy to play, even for a clumsy fingerstyle guitarist like myself.
Made in Japan with finished assembly here in the states by Ken Smith. This is basically a Custom Burner bass but it has the newer body design.

I got this in trade for a Taylor 12-string guitar on the Acoustic Guitar Forum. (Look me up, I'm flagstaffcharli there as well.) I'm a songwriter. The simple truth is that I need a lot less bass than this, and I could use a nicer mandolin. So cash is nice.
I'll consider trades for a lesser bass plus cash. I prefer something like a Carvin or Fender Highway One & would prefer a hardshell case. (I currently own a Peavey Milestone BXP to keep me playing, but I think my ideal recording bass is somewhere between that and the Smith.)
We're remodeling our house. If I'm slow in responding I apologize in advance.
I'll accept PayPal, but I need to get my account approved to accept payments bigger than $500. So be aware that there could be a slight delay. Update: No longer an issue. I can accept full payment via PayPal.
Cheers!
