Bought for a project that isn't happening. $67 PLUS freight.

Lighten up that delta LF based cab! Get a little more oomph from that 1st gen neo cab!

THis is an 8 ohm driver by the way and yes, it is the Avatar OEM driver as shipped in the current SB112/B212 cabs.

PM returned with an intersting answer.

Say you have a 4ohm SB112 and you want an 8 ohm.

1. remove the input jack plate
2. use an exacto and strip away the hot glue covering the out put section of the board.
3. clip the original wires and solder them to the stubs of the 8 ohm wires that you exposed in step 2.

So Avatar has the 1 x-over unit constructed to support both 4 & 8 ohm operation, thye just choose which to use and clip the other two, then hot glue when they load the driver. Makes a lot of sense from a builders perspective. Parts cost was an extra resistor...
