This Mpulse 600 is from a Venture combo, so it's a little different looking, what with its slanted front and various little holes not filled in with screws in the metal casing. You can be sure of one thing, though, it is an Mpulse 600. Yes, it's a little rough, but fully functional. No footswitch is included. It shows it age a little, but everything works and it sounds great and can get real tubey, more tubey. The Mpulse is I think 34 pounds.
Full disclosure - at moderate to high volumes with the bass and mids pushed, there is something rattling in the case - I can't pin it down. I gigged 4 hours with it a couple weekends ago and at gigging volumes, and you can't hear it, only at bedroom volume. It's a little annoying when practicing but when I put it on the pink eggcrate foam as shown, it stops the rattle significantly and even sometimes so there is no rattle at all. I also tried a soft case under it and same thing, stops it 90%.
More info here, but there's no mute on the footswitch as in the newer models http://www.mesaboogie.com/Product_Info/Bass_Amps/M-Pulse-600/M-Pulse-600.html
It's priced accordingly for a cheap way to get into the Mpulse experience.
