I will post pictures later this week, but here is a detailed description as a teaser and the whole thing works on a first comes first serves base anyhow. I don't like to do this but GAS stroke me hard! So this outstanding Warwick Streamer $$ five string can be yours:

Warwick Streamer $$ 5 string
nirvana black
gold hardware
US Swamp Ash body with Ekanga veneer layer between back and top
Scale length: 34"
Ovangkol neck

Custom Shop options:
Ebony fretboard with MoP dot inlays
Knobs with MoP inlays (panther head)
EMG MMTW pickups
EMG BTS 2 band electronic
Dunlop strap lock pins

If you would get the bass like this ordered it would be in the 3000,- US$ ballpark. The condition is fantastic, it never left the house! Set up with DR TMR strings.

If you want to buy it via paypal - for 1300,- US$ it is yours. Regarding trades, here are a few wishes:
EBMM Stingray or Sterling 5 (prefer dark colors)
Fender Preci 5
Mesa Big Block in head case
Hiwatt 200 ;)

Other offers are welcome, but there is no way for four strings or other amps. If you have a five string that has a significant lower value here is a perfect opportunity for a trade-up with cash from your side!

Width at Nut 45 mm
Width at 12th fret 61 mm
Thickness at 1st fret 21 mm
Thickness at 12th fret 25,5 mm
Radius 664 mm (26" )
Spacing 16.5 mm

The myth of the baseball bat Warwick neck is based on the experience people had with the early Standard line, that's what I assume. If you have a look on the dimensions this is a slight D profile....a little bit like a Stingray and nobody calls a Preci neck a baseball bat. The five strings are the most comfortable necks ever, have a look at the string spacing. But it also relates to playing style, techniques etc.

Hope this helps a little!

Moonbass-de, does your Streamer look like this? If so, I played one like this back in January, and it is a very comfortable bass.:)

I have a black/maple SR5 that I might be willing to throw up in trade. How's the balance of the bass? Does it neck-dive at all? I had the Corvette $$ and hated the balance on that thing, but loved the tone. I'm trying to figure out if the Streamer version balances any better.

The thumb is a neck through 5 string...cost me about 3500 in 1999.....alot of saving! It has the 18 volt electronics and the 7 piece neck through..........it plays well and has great tone......the active treble does amazing things! I am in Virginia! Icould send pics Wednesday if you do not get a more appealing offer! I have corvettes and streamers and the streamer just feels better. Is the back of your neck wenge or maple with stringers?
