She's a great bass, but I'm sad to admit she's not doing it for me.

She's probably as high-end as Korean instruments come; 1495$ MRSP. Not exactly a very common bass, so here's the lowdown...

- Korean made. I don't know when it was made, but my guess would be early 2000's.
- Active electronics with 3 band EQ, plus slap switch
- Maple/padouk/maple construction
- Nicely figured quilted maple; the matching headstock looks stunning (I just loooove the shape of that headstock).
- Soapbar pickups
- Contoured body; extremely confortable.
- Output jack is located at the back. Might seem weird at first, but it makes a lot of sense; the cable is never in the way.

Now, of course she can't be perfect, so in the interest of full disclosure:

- She's crazy thirsty. I'd recommand keeping the battery out if you're not playing her for more than a day. The battery cover makes this easy, but else you'll be replacing the 9V a lot!

- She's in very good condition, but certainly not mint. She's good looking for sure, she's been played, but she has no major dent or scratch that went through the finish. The knobs have some pitting. Might be able to solve that with Brasso or something along those lines. As I'm not an expert, I'd rather leave that to an eventual owner rather than risk any kind of damage.

Had her repaired and cleaned up about 6 months ago, when I got her. They fixed the truss rod that was maxed out and cleaned the pots.

I've got a generic hard case with it; not the original (not certain there even is an original hard-case).

Essentially, I'm selling her because she's too modern sounding for me. I'm looking for a trade for something else entirely; a passive with more of a vintage tone. Maybe a Fender Japan RI, or a good lawsuit P-Clone. Might be interested in selling as well, but I don't really know how much to price her. Make me an offer. Would trade to someone in Canada or US.

Unfortunately, no... No USB on it either. They list those features as available on their page, but I wonder if they ever sold even one with them. A stock one is already a rare sight! Apparently they've had more success with their guitars.

I had one of these once and it was a very well made and great sounding bass.. I had the same finish, though the maple top on mine was more quilted than flamed.. Nice bass

You're right about the quilted finish; mine's quilted as well. Edited the post.

And here's the pictures. Sorry for the uneven quality, I'm no photographer and my roommate's camera was a bit overwhelming for me to use!

incidentally...yes they did. i have a 5 string iM with the 13pin plug made in in 03. It's a joy.

any interest in selling?
Not really, I'd rather trade, but I wouldn't refuse a very good offer either.
i have 400 lol
PM'ed
Yep, that's exactly what it does.
Nice; I would have thought it would require a special pickup. I guess anyone interested in that would be very well served in hunting down one of those 13-pin models!

---

As for my bass, I'm leaving her here until the weekend. I've had a couple of very good offers, but I'm also interested in seeing what people locally would offer for it.

It is very difficult to find one of their 13 pin models...they will do a retro of one of their basses though...

Technically it does have a different pickup. It's a hex pickup built into the bridge IIRC.

I have one of the Godins with synth access (It actually has no magnetic pickup...)

I see my message above this message. I never got a response. I thought this TB was a friendly spot for bassist to talk..and in this case sell a bass. Am I wrong to think this way about TB?
Is the bass not available? You were looking for a Fender Japanese clone...I have a great 70"s Aria Jazz Bass..if you google Aria 70's Jazz bass a guy ..JP has the exact one..he is in the Netherland..nice guy..I asked him about the bass..right away he responded..he is selling his for 760 Euro (1 Euro= $1.42) about $1,080.00 US. Look it up//it is the exact on that I have with the big block neck inlays, the chrome pu covers, and in great shape. There are not a boatload of Brian Moores out there...but try and find the Aria I have..I know of one.....it would cost you $1,080.00.
I have bought and sold many, many, many basses all real positive comunication...I have tried to contact people (about 4) about this Brian Moore bass and either they respond to my contact or have been very uptight. I think that maybe this bass has asbestos or lead in it that effects the people that have them. See....I have messaged you about this bass 4-5 times and you have not taken the 60 seconds to respond, not once
Like I said I have had nothing but good experences of buying and selling basses...except the Brian Moore Bass...I think that I will call the factory if they act strange then this bass has bad vodo.
