Up for sale is my custom Mike Lull PJ5 that I ordered from Mike in a custom Candy Orange finish, and features a maple neck and lightweight, resonant alder body. I went around the NAMM show a couple of years ago and tried all the basses to see which 5-string came closest to my beloved '73 P-bass, and Mike's basses won out. I then saw a pic on the Sadowsky site with this color/tort pickguard combo and had Mike match it. Bass is in dead mint condition - very comfortable to play, has Schaller straplocks, comes with the most gorgeous, plush case I've ever seen, as well as all case candy, plus two extra sets of Lull SS strings. Scale is 35", but I don't notice it being any different than the standard 34" Fender scale. Perfect neck width in my opinion for a fiver - not cramped like my old G&L L5000, and not super wide like most brands. Weight is 8.6lbs. I just never play five string, and I feel guilty every time I see the Lull case in my closet - this bass should be out being played. I had Mike install the pickups the "proper" way (IMO again), so that the A string has the poles in the same location as on a traditional P-Bass. Beautiful workmanship throughout - I can't say enough about Mike's work and the attention to detail.
