Details

This is my most prized possesion ! It's a signed page from John Lennon's book "One Day At A Time". This was signed in 1977. 1977 was a true "changing of the guard" year for rock music. Elvis died (John's hero), punk arrived, and disco was , well, disco.

I bought this from a lifelong collector who is the go to guy. The Whisky A Go Go uses him for authentication, and memorabilia. The sad truth is that 90% or more of BEATLES autographs are forgeries, so I'm told. This is the real deal.

$1,400 shipped or SF Bay Area p/u.

Mike

For what it's worth...

TB rules in the Classified Section specify that you may bump your ads, but only under these conditions :

- No more than one bump per 24 hour period
- All previous bumps MUST be deleted

The reason for these rules are
a) Sellers have abused 'bumps' in the past
b) Reducing 'clutter' in for sale threads

A bump is not just a post that says “bump” or “Monday morning bump” or “bumpaboo”, but ANY POST that does not feed the thread with relevant information. Examples include, but are not limited to:

- “C’mon guys, this is a wonderful bass!”
- “Get it quick or I’ll put it on eBay”
- “No-one, really ?”
- “PM replied”

Adding of pictures is a valid reason to bump your forsale thread, as long as it falls within the above rules - no more than once per 24 hours and delete prior bumps beforehand.

Violation of these rules will result in an infraction. Repeat violations will incur double points.

I would think you would have a lot more Beatle collectors on Ebay.
Also, since you say 90% of all Beatle sigs are fakes, the provenance of this autograph, if you have the proof and can prove it's authenticity, should bring in more dollars on Ebay as well.
Is the page still in the book (i am guessing no?) A photo of the page itself might help along with the reason why it is no longer in the book. Just trying to help!

No, the page is not in the book. It looks just like an 8x10 photo. It was cut from the book before John signed it. I have all of the details and a hand written letter of provenance.

As far as Ebay goes, they are weird about Beatles autographs. I choose not to use ebay for this.

This is the real deal.

Thanks ! $1,400 is a GOOD deal. This is the REAL DEAL (I have provinance) for a REAL John Lennon auto. John's is the most desirable of all the Beatles (obviously) and a complete set from the Beatles sells for thousands.

Thanks again !

seems cool. i dont know about $1400 cool tho. this bump's for you!
