I dunno about you, but I love me some super gritty bass distortion (a la Paucity), and I have found the perfect pedal to do that, the ProCo Rat II. Unfortunately, my brother, being the gearhead he is, thought he could perform a simple modification to my Rat II, snipping one of the resistors (i think the 56k one? I'm not sure). And actually it worked well, but I didn't like it, and he failed at reassembling it, and i'm too weary to even solder a connection in a pedal.
One day at the local music shop, I saw a TurboRat, of which I've read comparable reviews to the Rat II. I bought my Ibanez ATK300 that day, and, thinking to replace my Rat II, that TurboRat. It functions perfectly (I'll even include pictures and sound samples if someone would like, it'll be the same as listening and looking on Musician's Friend), but I've decided I miss my Rat II more. If someone has a RAT II they're looking to trade, that'd be perfect. If you have any other interesting trades, let me know, I'll consider every one.
I'm terrible at selling stuff. I see these going new on eBay for $85-$100, and $100 on musiciansfriend. I see two Rat II's going on here for $65 shipped. TurboRat's are considered sliiiightly higher up than a Rat II (so is my impression), so I'll part with this $65 shipped. I also have the original box and documentation, which I will ship along with the pedal.
*NOTE* I'm seeking a Rat II with the LM-308 processor!!*
