SOLD
Been fighting with doing this for awhile, but up for sale is my '73. It was "blacked out", which was apparently a fad at some point, I've got a '64 Strat that Nils Lofgren did the same thing to. Then that black finish was removed. Has some extra holes from a bridge that sat lower, two different movements of the thumb rest (one putting an extra hole in the pickguard), and strap lock holes that are next to the original holes.
Aside from that, original body, neck, tuners, nut, plate, pickguard, most screws, and strap buttons. Has a non-original yet coincidentally '73 bridge plate, but the saddles are new knock-offs. Some other things are newer, although the bridge cover looks pretty old. Comes with a Red Label Fender form fitting case, these are the good ones, fits like a glove, closes easily.
Tuners turn a tad bit "strongly" as I'm hesitant to oil them, but have no fear they function fine. Back of the neck is defin'd but awesome, quick and smooth, probably better off playing-wise. 1990ish CTS pots, yet original capacitor, also newer knobs. Rockin a Duncan Antiquity with the raised A pole pieces option and new 50 guage lo-riders by DR. Also has original grounding plate.
The fretboard and frets on this are ridiculously clean, plays and sounds wonderful.
SOLD
I'll put a couple pics now, more later. Somebody get a $15 Reranch can and make this thing sexy!
