Wow, that`s simply beautiful.

Are you sure the top is Koa ?
Never seen that on a Cirrus before, but I guess
it maybe flamed redwood.

You might be right, but it doesn't seem as dark as the redwood ones I have seen. But they aren't too far apart, I only saw the koa offered through the custom shop on their site right now, so can't find a good pic of one online.

That is redwood.

BTW, this weighs 9lbs 2 oz.

Bump for a gr8 Cirrus bass simply put the best non boutique bass out there bar none and just as good as any boutique bass out there bar none

Bump for a great finish.

I traded a redwood (very close) 4 for an oil finish 5.. the glossy tiger striping etc is much more attractive.

I also feel that the top of this bass is Redwood. Found a pic of a Cirrus Bass with a Koa top here

The top of your bass looks quite similar to this Redwood.

First highly flamed Koa cirrus I have seen, I saw one without nearly that kind of flame. Very cool.

For the most part I am not really wanting to trade it. I will most likely flip anything that I'd get, so it's best if you just sold it.

If it can be shipped internationally, I can make it happen if you foot the bill.

It's also important to remember they've already sold this bass and there's not a technical support issue.

I've dealt with Peavey numerous times, and they've been nothing but very helpful and friendly. I was surprised at how attentive they are for how big a company.

FYI, this bass is definitely redwood/alder. I used to have one with the same wood combo.

I was asked to take pics of any other dings and such, so I looked pretty good over this thing. There was one I didn't capture, and it wasn't for a lack of trying, just couldn't get it to show up in a pic. It is near the one at the bottom, but on the back side as oppossed to near the front. Here are two others, and those three plus the two dimples I saw are really it, I don't see anything else on the bass at all. I did circle (kind of) the spots where the mark is, because the bass was a little dusty.
