I purchased this bass used on the 'bay a couple of years ago. However, when I received it, it still had the plastic on the pg and battery compartment and no appreciable wear. It even had the case candy that I'll include if I can find. The only problem I could find was that one of the rivets had fallen out of the handle so I cut a piece of wire hanger and bent it into place (see pic below).
It has seen two gigs and a few practices. I just polished it and checked it over as I did so. I can find no scratches, bumps, etc on the body. There appear to be scratches in the pics but they are just smudges/reflections. The original black pg has some light scratches from playing. I recently bought a EB tortoise shell pickguard and it has seen no playing time. Both pgs will be included. It is currently sporting Chromes that I would like to keep if possible. I can include the original strings (I have to assume they are EB strings) or a set of D'Addario rounds. I'll include the wide black leather strap for and extra $20.
I do love this bass and will likely regretting selling it as I've FINALLY become GAS free. However, I work for a local film fest and I've realized that for what we pay in rentals each year, I can buy equipment and keep the rental fees. I've arranged to borrow the majority of money I would need but I need to convince the wife that I've willing to sacrifice to make it happen. I'd like to get $900 shipped in the conus or will drive to make a semi-local deal. Let me know if you need any additional info/pics. I had hoped to take pics outside but we haven't seen the sun in central missouri for the last couple of weeks.
