Headed to Honest Abe!
So this bass is everything I want except for the tone. It's a modern J sound and it's just not my thing now. I need a P bass! The bass I am offering literally boutique quality and was built in Peavey's USA Custom Shop. MSRP was pver $1500 new.
Looking for a nice MIA or MIJ P. I prefer maple fretboards and B necks (1 5/8" nut). I'll add cash if needed! The finish option and pickup option is rare for a Millennium.
Peavey USA Made Millennium Plus bass. Has the same 18v preamp as the newer Cirrus basses (with the mid-sweep feature). Dual humbucking J pickups. All hipshot hardware including Bass Xtender (tuner) all installed at the factory. Bass is 100% stock.
Comes with the original hardshell case also in excellent condition. Issues? She has a few small cracks on the fret board from the bass sitting for a long time as new-old stock. The board dried out and developed a few very small cracks. It has since been cleaned and oiled and is A-OK. Cracks are stable and will not spread more if (unless you let the board totally dry out again). A good luthier can fill them with wood filler or expoxy for dirt cheap (or maybe you can do this yourself) if you feel the need. This is a rare finish and pickup configuration for a Millennium. Good luck on finding another...
As you can see, she is VERY clean. Damn near new!
Headed to Honest Abe!
