KSD (Ken Smith Design) Proto-J 704 (70's style 4 string)

One(1) Hipshot BT-2 Xtender
I couldn't even begin to guess what happened to the original machines...I had 'em in a bag once, but who knows where that ended up.
The door to the battery compartment snapped off and I've been using America's favorite fix-all (Duct Tape or some such adhesive backed material) to keep the battery in it's little house.
There is a finish ding about 1/8" (see the image with the red circle) on the front. Two more slightly smaller where the front meets the side at the waist (bottom of bass) and a nick where the back meets the side by the tail.
Apart from that, it is what it is. 8.5 lbs by my bathroom scale, but I wouldn't trust it. This is a bit heavier than a typical J in my estimation.
Currently strung with Ken Smith flats of some kind (I forget). The combination of strings and bass give this thing SERIOUS THUMP.
