Hey Guys,

My band/touring situation has changed and I'm unloading my big biamped rig.

This setup has been rock solid reliable for over 2 years and 200+ shows all over the country. The head is a Carvin BX1200 http://www.carvinguitars.com/products/single.php?product=BX1200 with 4x10 and 1x18 cabs. The head, 3 space drawer, wireless and power supply are in an 8 space shock-mount rack from New York Case Company and the cabs are in custom-made Calzone cases with 4” casters (which will roll over just about anything). It's been a great rig both in terms of its power and its ability to change sizes depending on the venue it's in. It's seen 60x40 stages and played on postage stamps and has been a consistent and reliable performer for me.

As you can imagine, the cases have plenty of road rash but are all 100% functional and solid. The carpet on the cabs is in good shape as are the metal cabinet grilles. The head has lived its entire life in the rack, so it's also very very clean.

A few things to note: the tuner in the rack is not included...that's a “permanent loan” item but does not actually belong to me per se, so I can't include it.

Also, the wireless belt pack needs a star washer and nut on its input jack to keep it from crackling...an easy enough fix but one I just haven't gotten around to doing.

And lastly, I've got some nice big-ass speaker cables that will stay with the rig.

Like I've said before, this rig absolutely kicks ass and is ready to hit the road hard enough to leave a dent in the pavement!

I'm not interested in parting this out, so the rig will be sold in its entirety. Would also consider trade for an Ampeg SVT-VR and 8x10AV cabinet in like condition. Would like to sell semi-local (I'm in Minneapolis)...shipping's probably out of the question but I'm more than willing to drive a bit to meet a buyer...so WI, IA, ND, and SD are all fair game.

I'm looking for $2000 for the whole shootin' match for now. I know I've put over 3 grand into the rig and it really is a turn-key touring setup.

Wow. That is epic.

I've seen epic-er, believe me. :D

That said...yeah...I played my last show with it a week ago (which was the first show I'd played in like 3 weeks or a month) and was pleasantly surprised (again) by how beef it was.

I'm just not going to be on the road as much...and it's not that I don't dig the amp...but I really don't need all the casing and craziness...and I REALLY want an SVT-VR and matching AV cab...so...here I am.

Bump before the weekend.

Apparently no one in the upper midwest is going on tour under equipped this year!!

I know that last post was a lie. I know of more than a couple guys going on tour underequipped.

Just as a feeler, is anyone interested in any of the parts? I'd really prefer to not part it out...but...

Bump. After playing an SVT-CL today...would probably be willing to trade for an SVT-CL and 810E cab as well. Any takers?

Bump.

Would be willing to split up the head and cabs...but the cabs stay in their cases no matter what. $800 head/rack setup - $1200 cabs/cases.

Would really love to see this gear back out on the road kicking ass where it belongs!

We've got almost exactly that setup except just a 2x10 on top instead of the 4x10 - it's my wife's regular live rig.

If you haven't tried it with a VT bass pedal in front, borrow one and try it before you sell. They go nicely with a BX1200. (especially true if you're lusting after a real SVT).

Otherwise, free bump ...

I'll give it a look.

I really like the rig...but the big factor for me is that I'm not gonna be on the road for the forseeable future and this really is a live rig...it has done OKAY in the studio the few times I've called on it there...but really it's not my first choice and that's where the rub lies for me.
