This is by far my FAVORITE clean preamp/DI pedal. It makes a passive jazz bass sound absolutely fantastic. The simple two-band control has that classic Sadowsky mojo that just works in a mix. I've never experienced any two band EQ that fattens up the bottom so much without creating boom, and the treble knobs adds a bit of gliss and grind at the same time. If you love your passive Jazz bass but want something that can make it thump and sparkle when necessary, this is the ONLY pedal you should consider IMHO.
