Hey Guys... HELP!!

I am selling this beautiful Warwick Fortress Masterman 5 string...

Now's your chance to get your hands on a TRUE German made Fortress Masterman 5 string with a WENGE neck and finger board!!

This Warwick is a 1995 model and is in very good condition for its age. Yes, it has some scratches in the body, but I will say that you will have to LOOK for them in the right light. I took several photos of this bass and with the flash, it shows them for you to see. But their is built-in character. The gold is also wearing a bit. Typical of gold though. But hey... I love gold and the bass is over 15 years old now.

The only real thing that needs some loving is the electronics housing. The cover wants to fall off as the little catches are worn. This is an inexpensive part to replace. Other than the above described, the bass plays phenomenal and feels / sounds great!

UPDATE: I really shouldn't have done this, but I Ordered new electronics housing from Hanser and you won't need to worry about it.

I am sad to see this bass go, but I need to get caught up on my truck payments or Ford is coming to get it.

No trades, just cash. [DEL]$995[/DEL] Now $950. Will include a tolex case. Case has a little damage, but still definitely usable. Will ship packed.

Let me know if you have any questions... I need to pass this bass along to a loving, caring Warwick fan.

I would try to talk you down to about $800 but A) That's quite a bit of money to talk anyone down to and B) you need to get some car payments done.

Best of luck finding a buyer!

Absolutely gorgeous! If I had the money I'd be all over this, it's in the price range I paid for my LX5s (900 and 1000). And an original just-a-nut, niiiiice.

Is that the honey violin oil finish? Beautiful bass, if I hadn't just finished a Warmoth I'd be on it already. Big body, one pickup, perfect!

It's not Honey Violin. It is a golden brown. I have not seen this color on Warwick before. The fourth photo down is a good representation of the real color. The flash tends to make it look a little lighter than it really is.

Yah... I can't go that low. If it were a Ovangkol neck then maybe. But Wenge is hard to come by any more and this neck is PERFECT!!

Beautiful bass- that's a spectacular maple body. The Germans can really do that stuff right. Good luck selling it and keeping the truck.

If you look at this bass at different angles (in person), it actually looks holographic in the maple stripes (No kidding!!). I was AMAZED when I first saw this!!

I think I used to own this bass... ser# begin with E?

If so, I will say it was the prettiest, deepest flame maple and had an AWESOME tone. Great bass from back when Warwick was at the Tip-Top of their game!

If not, I will say this has the prettiest flame maple and looks AMAZING! If it sounds anything like mine was, it cuts through so well. These are great basses made when Warwick was at the pinnacle of their manufacturing.

Either way, awesome bass.

Wasn't mine, but I had one JUST like it and the wood was insane. I've never had another bass with such amazing flame. Hell, never even seen one... until this post!

Actually, now that I think of it, the flame "V" pointed the other way on mine, but maybe they were from the same stock.
