Next: 2001 Warwick Limited Edition - $[DEL]1199[/DEL]
$1099 plus shipping from Canada (Wouldn't mind if this one doesn't sell. Sweetest Thumb I've ever played).SOLD
Warwick made 150 of these basses for the Guitar Center's 37th adversity in 2001. This one has a really skinny neck profile for a Wick and is very similar to a Jazz Bass.
This bass is in amazing shape (Only a minor brush marks at the headstock, a couple of small scratches on the body and by the upper bout strap pin - pictured) and plays great. It comes with a Gigbag
Here is what is different with this bass and a regular Warwick thumb. Unlike the regular thumb, this one has a body made of 3 parts: an Ovangkol bottom, a Bubinga Pommelé top, and a Maple veneer that goes in between to emphasize the coupling joint. The bolt-on Ovangkol neck has an Ebony fingerboard and little dot inlays on its edge.
Ovangkol body
Bubinga Pommele top
Bolt-on Ovangkol neck with Ebony fingerboard and 24 frets
Scale length: 34" (long)
Active MEC J/J pickups
Active 2-band MEC electronics
Black hardware
Natural Oil Finish
Only 150 built
