Another great one from our own rratajski! This black Sovtek has been modded to Civil war spec and has added: green LED, mids knob, tone bypass, oscillator on a momentary switch, 9v jack, and the input and output jacks are where they properly belong. :p

I'm asking $120 shipped in the ConUS.

Unfortunately, I have no clips. Although I myself am a horrible guitar player, a friend of mine gave this Muff a run-through on guitar and it sounded great. The oscillation isn't quite as pronounced on guitar as bass but with that switch engaged it added extra depth to the sound, almost as if a second guitar started a very distinct drone underneath. It was an interesting effect on guitar, to say the least. :bassist:

Builder for FUZZROCIOUS PEDALS
My buddy played Thom's muff with his Jazzmaster into a Fender Twin Reverb.

It's dark and medium gain. It's enough to drive guitar tubes.

It was really nice when stacked with his OD or fuzz. If you need a dark drive, this pedal is for you on g****r. Also, the momentary oscillation was pretty musical, especially on g****r.

But on bass, you wouldn't need to stack it with OD or fuzz?

Unless I am mistaken, the muffs are already fuzz pedals, right?

I'm intrigued, but I can't find clips of how the Civil War tone sounds with bass anywhere.

I'm definitely in need of a good muff, and the CW specs seem to be quite popular.

They're popular for a reason. Civil war specs are just begging to be used with a bass. VERY musical, dark and mellower than a rat for sure. I'd add a mid control knob to this one, but that tone bypass will get you in the same ballpark.
