Hayman 40\40 for sale. I am the only owner. Mint condition. All original except for the clip that holds the tailpiece cover on. I made a new one out of a spring steel clip from my junk drawer. Lots of smoked plexiglass. Handmade by Jim Burns in England. Bolt-on neck, double split pickups.
This is one of those things that if you know what they are, you probably want one, if you don't... then... hell I don't know.
Only made for three years in the early seventies.
Great Precision sound, except stronger mids, and great for pick players b/c it balances a little more horizontal, but no neck dive.
Had a great discussion today in the regular bass guitar section plus a little history but moved it over here to try and sell it.
Asking $750 or best offer.
