Pearce BC-1 preamp. Classic solid state pre with great clean tone and killer dirty tone, on two channels and you can combine the channels for a great dirty-clean rockin' tone.
I somehow managed to pick up two of these preamps within a couple weeks of one another, so I'm selling one because I don't need two.
This pre has some rack rash/scratches/wear and shows it's age, but is overall a clean piece and fully working. I honestly do not know much about these pre's, I don't know how to tell if they're modded with the Sheehan mod for extra gain. I can say the complaint about these being quiet does not apply to this pre, it drives a poweramp plenty loud.
I do not have the footswitch for it. There's a guy on ebay selling aftermarket footswitches for these pre's, and I'm having Butch at Bayou Audio (hi Butch!) make me one for my other BC-1, so they can be had.
Last one I saw sold on ebay a few weeks back for $610. I'd like $400 plus shipping. I'd be happy to do a local pick up deal too.
