The strings in the CORELLI TUNGSTEN Series (Orchestra Tuning Sets 370M, 370F, 370TX) benefit from the use of the tungsten and a winding technology exclusive to Corelli. Thanks to this technology, the strings are thinner than the usual ones that benefit from a more traditional concept. As a result they are very flexible and very easy playing while offering increased expressive possibilities. They bring advantage of a quick response, a much focused sound, very clean and clear, and an enriched tone. It is very easy to get the string vibrating. Because the string is very sensitive, it can be played with less pressure under the bow. Two much pressure stops the vibration.
In the same series we offer the 370TX set. The strings from the "TX" series are treated differently during the winding process. The "TX" strings present some more resistance under the fingers and bring advantage of more power and of an amplified response under the bow.
