I just bought a set of D'Addario chromes in the custom light gauge. I put the E string on my jazz bass for a minute or two. I could tell right away these aren't the flats for me. They are brighter and higher tension than I want. The other three strings haven't been touched.
Will trade for a different set of flats or a set of nickel wound strings.
