I have some recently finished parts-basses to share and this is one I'm rather proud of. It's based upon a Fender American Pro II in a beautiful Dark Night reverse-burst that I briefly owned. It was nicely priced, but at $1,279, it was a bit rich for my blood, so it went back. Fortunately for me, I spotted this off-brand copy on "the 'Bay" for about $200.
Once it was in-hand, I was off to the races...a very slow, two-year race.
